Real progress this week. Check out these pictures.

Suspension joins the body

Now real progress is being made. Ran into a minor issue as the Bav Auto "sport" springs are too short and/or too stiff to mount on the perches for the rear trailing arms. These are going back and H&R sport springs are on there way from Mr. Blunt.

Suspension assembly nears completion!!!

It is easy to become mired in the pace of a restoration OR as I have done change directions and cause a much longer period of time to be required. Purchasing the tii meant back to sand blasting and powdercoating several suspension bits - strut tubes, wishbones, pittman arms (these bits are all much beefier on the tii) and the boxed rear trailing arms -and then buying new wheel bearings, etc. So after a long period of preparing all the new parts the suspension is now completed and the body shell will finally (and for the first time since I have owned the car(s)) be a roller. Here are a few pictures of the completed suspension components awaiting installation which is scheduled for next week.
